BIO
Grace Paik is a Korean-American designer, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She has been featured in HGTV, Washington Post, Daily Candy Kids, CNBC, Rachel Ray's Magazine, Time Out NY Kids, Parents Magazine, Dwell Magazine, and numerous publications for her surface and product design. She is the founder of Jaq Jaq Bird ® formerly Sam & Bellie. She has done work for Nickelodeon Kids, The Land of Nod, and has produced exclusive prints for companies in Canada, and Hong Kong, and private retail clients. Currently, she launched her eco-friendly, completely dust-free chalks for her chalk mat, called "ButterStix™.
Grace is passionate in surface design and loves to sew, cut and draw during her official business hours. Her unofficial job as a homeschooling mother
& a military wife keeps her also very active. She & her husband with their live in Japan.

When not designing, she is busy with her unofficial duty as a military wife, and mother. Her three children, Sam, Elly & Micah attend the local Japanese school. Grace currently lives in Japan with her children and husband.
